Whether you need an independent, suspended position or a sleeping spot in alpine or urban environments, the LITERIDER LEDGE PRO is the top choice—and incredibly light! The frame is crafted from 7075 T6 aluminum with oval tubing that delivers maximum flex resistance with minimal wall thickness. This gives the deployed portaledge outstanding stability at minimal weight. All support lines run through the tubes, keeping them secure and protected from loss. The floorsheet is made from lightweight yet highly durable polyester and is tightly stretched over the frame with three buckles. A diagonal center fin enhances both stability and lying comfort, while two integrated hook-and-loop pockets provide storage space for essential items. Additionally, the LITERIDER LEDGE PRO is reinforced on the wall-facing side with a specially abrasion-resistant polyamide strap. The suspension system uses 10 mm HMPE webbing, rated to over 15 kN per strand. These straps are finely adjustable with 10 mm buckles and can be separated to allow multipoint attachment, improving anti-tip stability.
