Highlight Product 2024: RADIALIS AIR

A new highlight among the Adventure Park harnesses - the RADIALIS AIR. The easily adjustable and versatile full-body harness for use in high ropes courses. What makes it so special and sets it apart from our other RADIALIS products? The highlight is the dorsal eyelet for pamper pole elements or other activities where the rope connection on the back enables the full climbing experience.

Innovative PPE Equipment for your Adventure Park

High rope courses are climbing courses laid out at great height and require fall protection. A distinction is made between forest rope courses (aerial forest parks), in which the individual elements are stretched between trees, and completely free-standing systems made of wood or steel.

Usually, the users of the high rope courses can choose from different courses, which differ in difficulty and height. However, everyone, whether a first-timer or a professional, has the opportunity to prove their courage at great height and to find their personal limits. Depending on the course, guests are confronted with various obstacles. Suspended bridges, zip lines, wire ropes for balancing or stretched nets for grappling your way across are popular.

Individuals and families are just as happy to come to high rope courses as school classes, clubs, or companies that use this activity as a team-building exercise, for example. The shared experience promotes team feeling, motivation, and mutual trust. As a rule, a qualified high rope course trainer will provide instruction and valuable tips for getting around the course. Afterward, participants can climb the course independently.

High-quality PPE equipment for your high rope course

Safety is always put first at every climbing facility. The basic equipment kit for each guest includes a lanyard, a climbing harness, and a helmet. Gloves are useful to prevent injuries caused by protruding strands.

The equipment must be checked regularly, and its use documented. In addition, there is special safety equipment for trainers and builders.

In the event of an emergency, suitable rescue equipment is also required to rescue affected individuals quickly and efficiently from the high rope course.

EDELRID is a pioneer in the development of high-quality products for adventure parks. Whether you are an operating company, guide or builder, we ensure that you get everything from a single source.

    SMART BELAY X

For years, adventure parks around the world have relied on this innovative self-belay system that allows guests to climb on their own. Since 2021, the SMART BELAY has also had a magnetic safety lock resulting in it being categorized as an EN 17109 Category D safety system. It is no longer possible to completely unhook without using additional tools. The advantage: more safety for visitors, less risk for operators.

    Harnesses

EN 12277 type A full body harnesses are recommended as rental harnesses. They maintain an upright body position in the event of a fall and the central rope point serves to attach a lanyard. For children up to 40 kg, there are special small full body harnesses (EN 12277 type B). The straps should have a large adjustment range and be quick and easy to put on.

Individual detailed solutions such as webbing termination, movable hip padding, and elasticated straps for stowing the remaining strap increase safety and facilitate handling in rental facilities.

    RFID TEC

Our innovative RFID products make PPE management child's play regardless of organizing your rental equipment, documenting usage, or conducting regular inspections.

This not only saves time and money, as well as minimizing sources of error. The transponders are small, robust, and specially designed for use with PPE products.

    High rope course rescue

Many scenarios may require guests being rescued from the high rope course. These include anaphylactic shock caused by an insect bite, cardiovascular problems, or overexertion caused by overestimation. Evacuation, for example, due to a sudden storm, may also require rapid rescue. Using the rescue and abseiling device with lifting function is advisable in all these cases. This device can be used to lift people involved in an accident and then lower them to the ground in a controlled manner, where other rescue personnel will receive them.

The rescue can be both passive and active. When the rescuer lowers the injured person while remaining at the top, we refer to this as passive rescue. In an active rescue, a rescuer descends with the injured person. The evacuation of several people (e.g., from a platform by pendulum rescue) is also possible with these devices.
