Description

Our PHOENIX lines all have a HMPE and polyester construction. The combination of polyester sheath and HMPE core provides optimal protection from dirt and abrasion. The HMPE used for the core receives no further processing – it is neither stretched nor braided. The fine, densely-braided sheath ensures optimal flexibility and shape retention, making the line soft yet extremely strong. The PHOENIX lines were developed as top or gallery lines for air sport applications (e.g. kite-surfing and paragliding) or for standard kites and un-manned parachutes, where minimal differences in length are acceptable or unimportant.

Thermo Shield CS

THERMO SHIELD describes a thermal treatment process that evenly and permanently anticipates the shrinkage of the yarns used. The process perfectly aligns the core and sheath yarns to achieve outstanding dimensional stability and thus guarantee the well-known suppleness.
