The MEGAWATT is a descender for industrial and rescue applications with a working load of up to 230 kg. The transmission mechanism of the lowering lever supports device operation and enables control of the descent speed over a large lever travel. The short lever automatically returns to the park position. The compact design can help reduce the risk of snagging on equipment or structures. The lever shape with rubberised grip inserts supports operation with either the left or right hand. The four-way locking mechanism allows the rope to be installed without disconnecting the device from the carabiner. Steel inserts are integrated in areas subject to increased wear. The anti-panic function supports controlled operation during lowering. It can also be used to reverse the operating direction of the lever, allowing the device to be adapted to different application scenarios. With a weight of 495 g, the MEGAWATT is suitable for a wide range of work-at-height and rescue applications.
