Fall Protective Equipment Trainings

Initial and refresher training in the use of protective equipment against falls from a height and in rescue according to national regulations. In Germany, this is based on the guidelines of "DGUV Regel 112-198" for the selection and use of fall protection equipment, "DGUV Regel 112-199" for rescue with PPE against falls from a height, as well as the accident prevention regulation DGUV Regulation 1 regarding the principles of prevention.

Additionally, we offer trainings for using our rescue lifting devices or becoming a manufacturer-authorized person for the inspection and maintenance of the descent and rescue lifting device SAFE DESCENT and SAFE DESCENT PRO.

What is fall protection equipment?

Working in areas with a risk of falling requires an initial instruction as well as annual refresher training in the area of fall protection equipment. By correctly using protective equipment against falls from a height, potential hazards in everyday work can be minimized or eliminated.

The training meets the requirements of "DGUV Regel 112-198" for the selection and use of fall protection equipment, as well as "DGUV Regel 112-199" for rescue with protective equipment against fall from a height.

For the first time, this training is available as a hybrid initial instruction. The course is divided into two main modules. The first online module focuses on the theoretical part, which deals with legal foundations, risk assessment, and selection of PPE. The second practical part complements this with application. The goal is to impart knowledge as well as to ensure the safe and effective use of PPE.
