    Another EDELRID pioneer on the responsible climbing equipment front! The ZODIAC 3R is a part-recycled helmet and was the first of its kind on the market: the outer polyamide shell is 100% made from recycled climbing ropes from our production facilities. The EPS inner shell is also fully recycled. And we do not make any compromises when it comes to safety, comfort, or ventilation. The ZODIAC 3R features a hybrid design, which makes it particularly robust. The modern design with highly drawn-down shells padded with EPS foam right up to the edge offers outstanding protection against side impacts. The large ventilation areas allow continuous air exchange to keep the wearer’s head cool. The many sophisticated details make the helmet simple to use and comfortable to wear: the Wing Fit system with an infinitely adjustable dial enables the fit to be quickly and optimally adjusted while the chin strap buckle is also easy to use. Any sweat residues and dirt can be hygienically removed thanks to the washable and replaceable padding, extending the helmet’s service life. The clips integrated into the shell can be used to securely attach the headlamp. The ZODIAC 3R is ideal for mountaineering, climbing, and use on via ferratas.
