Durable, light, and efficient. The RAYA LITE is the only ice screw on the market with a replaceable steel tip. If the tip is damaged or too much material has been ground away when sharpening the ice screw, the shaft can still be used, just with a new tip—protecting both the environment and your wallet. The ice screw furthermore impresses with minimum screw-in resistance. This is achieved through a sophisticated combination of the wall thickness, the thread geometry, and the three-pronged tip. With the medium screw weighing just 70 grams, the RAYA LITE is the lightest ice screw on the market, minimizing the load on your climbing harness. The standardized color coding on both the crank and the entire shaft provides clearer differentiation at a glance. We have also optimized the shaft to make the ice screw as a whole shorter without compromising on the length of the load-bearing section. The inside of the RAYA LITE tapers outward toward the crank to make the ice core easier to remove after unscrewing the product. Instead of conventional packaging, each ice screw comes in a robust tube bag. The individual bags can be connected together by VCR for flexible and compact storage and transportation. This reduces packaging waste and avoids additional costs.
