From 2026, EDELRID will completely dispense with PFAS in its UIAA waterrepellent mountaineering ropes, marking a further important milestone on the road to responsible behavior. Consumers will therefore be able to choose from a full range of quality ropes ‘Made in Germany’ that offer long-lasting water and dirt repellency and are produced without using these harmful substances, which are damaging to both the environment and health.
