The KAA is a pre-assembled hauling system for lifting persons during rescue operations or for tensioning a system. It can also be used for work positioning, as a restraint system (open or closed), and for controlled lowering. The KAA is certified according to EN 354. The webbing-based design allows for a compact construction. Depending on the configuration, a 4:1 or 5:1 hauling ratio is available with an efficiency of 91%. The system is supplied ready for use. A swivel is integrated at both ends to help reduce twisting of the system. The hand lever on the hauling strap supports force transmission and can also be used as a lowering lever. The KAA is available in lengths of 0.8 m, 1.5 m and 4 m.
